Here at Chimu we partner with artisans and entrepreneurs from Latin  America to showcase and sale their products in the UK (initially!)

We aim to select products with high standards of quality and great materials but even the highest quality materials are at risk of ageing without proper care and attention so please ensure you follow the following steps in order to extend the Life of your products.

Jewellery

• Keep the items in the box when not in use
• Avoid sweat & humid conditions, always removing items before intense physical activity
• Wipe jewellery with soft cloth after use
• Do not sleep in your jewellery
• Always remove your jewellery before bathing, showering or washing your hands (for rings)
• Avoid contact with harsh chemicals, especially hand creams. Always wait for creams to dry before putting on any jewellery
• Silver will oxidise, but it can easily be treated with silver polish to restore colouring
