We are two Latin Americans living in London. Having seen the growing interest and curiosity in the UK for Latin American culture and products, we came up with the idea of creating this platform to showcase the talent of artists, artisans and entrepreneurs.
We aim to connect and provide a window to Latin America in the UK and enable consumers to access great quality products from the comfort of their homes.
We also believe in creating impact to the communities of artisans & entrepreneurs we collaborate with, therefore every purchase you make will support a social impact initiative or charity in the region.
WHAT DOES CHIMU MEAN?
The ‘Chimu’ were pre-Columbian indigenous people famous for their extraordinary ability to work with copper, gold, silver & bronze.
They were our inspiration to create an ecommerce platform to showcase the remarkable talent of Latin American artists, the quality of their products and the stories of their communities.
